Use of Website

This website is intended to provide information about Ryan’s campaign, upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and ways to support the Campaign. You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website.

Campaign Communications

By submitting your contact information through our website, forms, event sign-ups, or other campaign channels, you consent to receive communications from Ryan for Illinois, which may include campaign updates, event invitations and reminders, volunteer opportunities, voter outreach information, fundraising and donation requests, and get-out-the-vote reminders. Communications may be delivered by email, phone call, or SMS/text message, depending on the information you provide.

SMS / Text Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile phone number and affirmatively opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated and non-automated text messages from Ryan for Illinois.

Types of Messages You May Receive

Text messages may include campaign updates and announcements, event invitations and reminders, volunteer coordination messages, polling or survey messages, donation and fundraising requests, and election reminders.

Message Frequency

Message frequency will vary based on your interaction with the Campaign, but you may receive multiple messages per month. Message frequency may increase during election periods or around major campaign events.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data charges may apply to all SMS communications. Charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider.

Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to cancel future messages or HELP for help or additional information. After you send STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you re-subscribe.

Consent Not Required for Donation

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of making a donation or supporting the Campaign.

Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as texting platforms, email distribution vendors, or data processors, is permitted solely for the purpose of providing services to the Campaign.

Opt-In Requirements

By entering your phone number into a Campaign form and checking the applicable consent box where required, you expressly agree to receive SMS communications from the Campaign. We do not use pre-checked consent boxes. Consent must be affirmative and explicit.

Donations and Financial Contributions

All donations are voluntary and subject to applicable federal and/or state campaign finance laws.

By making a donation, you certify that you are at least 18 years old, you are a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident, the funds you are donating are your own personal funds, you are not donating on behalf of another person, and you are not a federal government contractor if prohibited under applicable law.

Donations are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions. If you opt in to SMS communications, donation solicitations may be sent via text message.

Third-Party Service Providers

We may use trusted third-party vendors such as texting platforms, CRM systems, fundraising platforms, and email service providers to assist in delivering communications and managing campaign operations. These providers are contractually obligated to safeguard your information and may only use it to provide services on our behalf.

Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or mobile networks is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Intellectual Property
